God’s Country screens in Phoenix

I wish I could’ve accompanied our fearless director, Josh Mendoza, out to this year’s Phoenix Film Festival for the screening of God’s Country, on which I served as cinematographer. Sounds like the screening went great – would’ve been fun to see it on the big screen! Also, check out this nice write-up of Josh in a local newspaper.

The Ritual – Official Selection of the Dam Short Film Festival

Just found out that my USC student short, “The Ritual” has been selected to screen at the Dam Short Film Festival┬áin Boulder City, Nevada this February!

We’ll be the first film shown on Thursday, February 7th, in their screening group, “Curious Situations” – which could describe pretty much every film I’ve ever made…

Looks like my lovely wife, Ms. Laura Marie Keller and I have a trip to Vegas in our future!

“Outlaw Country” is a Slamdance Quarterfinalist!

I just got the great news that my feature script “Outlaw Country” is a quarterfinalist in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition! They got several thousand entries, and narrowed it down to twenty-five scripts in each of four categories: Features, Horror Features, Shorts, and Teleplays. In about a week, I’ll find out if I made it into the semifinals round, so stay tuned…
